(via writer-b)In the name of the greatest people that have ever trod this earth, I draw the line in the dust and toss the gauntlet before the feet of tyranny, and I say segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever.”

I did stand, with a majority of the white people, for the separation of the schools. But that was wrong, and that will never come back again.

Yes, it is the 21st century. Yes, the whole world is online. Yes, the communications for your job are important. Yes, at times you must be readily available. But despite all those factors, you do not have to sacrifice your child’s childhood; nor do you have to sacrifice your life.

Passover
I love Passover, it’s my favorite holiday.
I grew up celebrating Easter, but at about the age of 10 or 11, I began to question it all. I became obsessed with the Old Testament, so much so, my Southern Baptist Sunday School teachers and church camp counselors suggested I no longer attend children’s church, but attend adult Bible study and that my parents remove all Old Testament books and study guides from our home. At age 12, I had my own adult Bible tutor and I only had access to The New Testament and my Mom signed me up for every mission, revival and sent to me to Southern Baptist Charm School three summers in a row. OMG, at charm school, we were taught all the tenements of being a good Southern Baptist wife, that sex was dirty and not to be enjoyed by women, but was a marital duty to be performed in only ONE position (missionary, obviously) and only when married and only when the husband wanted you. Women were not to express their physical desire. They also taught us the proper way to sit, always with knees together and ankles crossed or with our legs not only crossed, but tucked under the chair (or whatever seat) and our foot hooked on the calve.
So many memories of being a fake Jesus Freak. The memories are more prevalent during Easter than at Christmas. I don’t know why.

Nasty UMF pigs!
They come in bigger crowds every year. They drink our booze, take our drugs, fuck our women, litter our beaches and dance in our streets. They use Miami for a cheap thrill and then they are gone.
For the love of God, can you clean up after yourselves? Some of us actually live and work here, we shouldn’t have to step over your used condoms, empty cans, vomit, needles, bottles and roaches.
Have some respect or stay the fuck home and watch it on youtube from your mother’s basement.
